“To be placed in a position like this right out of college has given me an opportunity to surpass the goals I set in college. Where I am today in this store and the things I have obtained will help me become successful in the future. I owe it all to the Ethos on-campus Recruiting Program.”

“My involvement with Ethos Group began immediately after my graduation from college. Being new to the car business, I had no idea what to expect in being a finance manager. Through instructional seminars and one-on-one training, Ethos Group helped me obtain the skills necessary for success. The valuable skills I have learned will not only benefit me today, but for as long as I am working in the business world. I would highly recommend the Ethos Group for anyone who is looking for an exciting, challenging and profitable career in the retail finance industry.”

Graduating from college was a stressful time for me. I thought I had done everything right. I was graduating with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in economics from their business school. I had a full page worth of honor societies and awards on my resume as well as a year long position as treasurer of my fraternity. It really started to wear on me when I was a week away from graduating and had been unable to find a job that both paid well and seemed enjoyable. Needless to say I hadn't even sensed the possibility of finding something I thought could lead to the kind of career path I was looking for.
Forced to move home and feeling anxious about my future, I started applying for every job I could find. Two months later I finally caught my break when I received an on campus interview with Ethos Group. Not to sound like an infomercial, but it changed my life. I was given the opportunity to work in the finance department of a recently purchased store in Panama City, Florida. This opportunity has given me more then I ever expected. I found everything I was looking for in a job. More importantly, I found a career where there is opportunity to advance, and your earning potential is truly unlimited.
It's a very rewarding job, and no two days are alike. You get to deal with all different types of people, from different types of backgrounds. It's competitive but at the same time it’s team oriented. It reminds me of my years playing football. You have common goals and you work together to achieve them. Just like sports, this job has helped me to continue growing not only professionally but personally. You are constantly learning new skills and building on old ones. These skills will help me not only in my career, but in my life. I like the people that I work with, and more importantly I like the people that I work for.
I recently visited back home and caught up with a bunch of my friends who are successful in their respected careers. They found it hard to believe that I take home more then all of them, including some that have multiple degrees. In addition, I have only been in the business for a year. I tell them this job is different from any other that I was considering. The environment is not that of a corporate office, and you're not traveling to different locations everyday. It's a fun and competitive environment.
Looking back on my job hunting experience I have to laugh. If I would have taken one of those jobs I was offered at the time and not waited, my life would be drastically different. I would have made less then half of what I made last year and probably would have been miserable doing it. Instead, I enjoy coming to work everyday, and look forward to what the future holds.

“Ethos Group is awesome! I just want to thank Ethos Group for first, giving me the opportunity to work with you and secondly, for placing me at such a great dealership. I love my job and all of the responsibilities that come along with it. The training that I just completed has helped me to understand and place value on all the products that I will be selling. I am very excited to get back to work and begin using my newly learned skills to benefit my customers. Thank you!”

“This week of training has been great in terms of providing me with personal confidence, as well as the tools I will need to be a great Business/Finance Manager. In addition, the class gave me an opportunity to meet other recent graduates in the same position in other areas of the country. I am excited about what I have learned as well as the friends that I have made during this exciting week of training.”

“Having graduated Texas A&M at a time when even students earning their MBA’s were having a difficult time finding gainful employment; I found myself in an interesting predicament. I was willing to put in the long hours and hard work it would take to develop a career but finding the right company eluded me for a time. What struck me most about the Ethos Group was the sheer quality of individuals gathered to form their team. Passionate, driven, ethical, highly successful: these are attributes that quantify what being a part of Ethos is all about. I felt the difference the day I first walked into the office for my first interview.
Of course I felt trepidation about my opportunity to enter into the car business, but with the mission statement of Ethos in mind I made the best professional decision of my life. With the guidance of the Ethos Reps and my fellow Finance Managers at my dealership, I was given all the tools to fully realize the fantastic opportunity that lay ahead.
After a time in the retail environment I decided that I had a desire to join the Ethos team internally to help spread the Mission Statement of this fantastic company: to be the BEST in the world at what we do. And what we do here at Ethos Group changes the way customers look at the automobile industry and the lives of those involved directly.
I believe one of the defining qualities of a relationship with the Ethos Group lies in the sheer number of career paths laid out before a potential hire. Whether a career in the retail market suits you best or wanting to help us be the catalyst for positive change in this highly competitive business, the Ethos Group has a place for you.”
